What a recommendation is allowed to claim
Audience: a practitioner who will show this screen to a client. The full course is about 20 modules over four weeks. This is the module people missed first.
30+ practitioners
The rule
A recommendation names what changed, what was tried, and what happened after. It does not name a cure. It does not fill a gap with a confident sentence. If the record is missing the measurement that would change the decision, the screen says what is missing. You do not invent the measurement.
One example
A training load went up. Sleep notes got worse. A lab the practitioner expected is not in the record.
The screen may say
The load change is recorded. The sleep change is recorded. The lab is absent. The next measurement is named.
The screen may not say
The sleep change is explained by a lab that was never entered. A cause is not a substitute for a missing row.
Check
- Which three facts are in the record in the example above?
- Which fact is absent?
- Write the one sentence the screen should show about the absence.
- Name the input you would point to if a client asked why the sentence is cautious.
A pass is the same rule as the rest of the course: the practitioner can say what the screen may claim, and can point to the input.
